The FO’AH Bottle

The FO’AH bottle alone is a character in our history. Its design, like most of the visual elements of the collection, is inspired by the palm tree.  Its facets evoke the trunk of this Tree of Life which constitutes the heart and inspiration of the House.

It is also a paradox, at least in appearance. Its diamond facets are fine and delicate to reflect all the subtleties of the rare perfume it contains, while its walls are solid so that it can accompany you for a long time, in the vision of sustainability which is one of the House’s fundamental concerns. .

The FO’AH bottles are produced in small quantities because this allows us to guarantee perfect and consistent quality. This is why FO’AH calls on the exceptional know-how of a French glassmaker based in the Bresle valley. This Normandy valley has been the cradle of French glassmaking since the 18th century, the place where the finest perfume bottles are born.

The glass that makes up our bottle begins by being an incandescent material, which glassmakers say is alive because it can be capricious to work with. Once the initial material has been brought to melting temperature, it is then shaped, worked, molded until the hot glass takes shape.

Once released from the oven, it is re-burned in order to acquire an intense shine, then cooled slowly and gradually so as not to alter its appearance. Only then will the fire leave its entrails and the bottle will become perfectly transparent, a marvel of delicacy on which the light plays with delight.

Later, it will be lacquered in the shade between brown and red that characterizes the Memories of a Palm Grove collection. The last step of his journey to the glassmaker consists of careful control so that your FO’AH bottle meets the highest standards.
